Lazy lazy river. The stream is slow and you can see yourself in its water. The flowers off the rocky riverbanks shake with the occasional strong gust of water which, like wind, makes foliage shake. After all, flowers are the heartbeats of the river1. But more than just in the ripples below the reeds, strong gusts of water down a river make the reflections of the world shake. They make my reflection shake too. But if you’re aware of the ripples, aware (in an intuitive sense) of how things like a river might work, there unlocks an awareness. And things become comfortable again with a little understanding.
